On January 15th, 2011we were invited to have babi guling (roast suckling pig) dinner at Loco Cafe in Nusa Dua. Babi guling is a traditional Balinese cuisine, it commonly stuffed with a mixture of onions, garlic, ginger, chili, pepper and candlenuts, roasted with dried coconut shells for several hours. We had 20kg of suckling pig (about 10 portions: two million two hundred thousand rupiah) for 5 people.
We had babi guling dinner at Loco Cafe! This was a rare opportunity to make roast suckling pig, so I was coming to Loco Cafe early☆

Staffs can speak a little Japanese. It was going to rain, so staffs as soon as bringing the tables in, they also taught us how to make roast suckling pig. It was good.

It was 07.00PM going dark, and babi guling roast was finish when we arrived! The skin of babi guling was crispy and the fat dripping・・・it looked delicious!!!

First I tasted only the meet, then I added Balinese sauce, lime, Kusamba salt and sambal matah. This day the 10 portions of babi guling cannot be eaten all by 5 people, so I got wrapped babi guling pork and bringing it home.
